Practicing IFR,how to set weather

Recommended Posts

Real pilot, also use X plane 10.

Wanted to practice IFR, ILS, and VOR approaches.

Is there a way to set the visivility to what I want?

For example low startus 1 mile visibility 400ft ceiling. If not.

What is the way to setup weather for IFR flights?

Yeah, just use advanced weather settings. I'm an FSX phanboy but to be honest XP's weather is superior to FSX... so I'd stick with XP for practice hehe.

p.s. This guy answered with more detail than I did in a similar post (at least more instructive):
