Following a Nav route

Featured Replies

I like to video my T/O and landings to watch later and improve. But when I did it for the 800i, the nav started tracking towards the right but still going to destination. I uninstalled and reinstill but did the video again and it did the samething. Maybe I need to start with a default and then swithed back to the 747. Has anyone else had this problem??

Sounds like the same type of problem I have on final except mine heads to the left. Lots of folks looked at my question but no answers.

Hi,

I think I have a similar problem like you guys (see the picture). I'm flying a heading course which is nearly 30 degrees to the left of the route, but I still arrive the destination airport.

By the way it is not possible to fly an ILS approach with the autopilot because the 747 would land round about 100 feet as you describe above to the right of the runway.

I have no Idea what is wrong, but in this manner it's not possible to fly with amusement like before.

I will try the 737 and MD 11 and look if I have some problems.

sorry I forgot the picture

Short update:

First of all could somebody tell me how I include a picture ?

Second I'm flying the PMDG 737 NGX right now and the NAV route works excellent, therefore it can't be a problem with the NAV data.

Did anybody have an idea why the 747-8i have these problems ?

im having the exact same problem now all she wants to do is turn right!!!

ive checked rudder trim to see if thats it but no, If i hold my yoke a little to the left by a couple of degrees she flies straight but im not going to hold it for a 2hr + flight!!!! lol

Any known fixes?? the NGX is working perfectly and now the Queen is behaving badly :(

I had the same problem with the default 747 when i was over cargo weight (but under total max weight). I didn't realize this until i reduced he cargo weight (while keeping the same fuel weight)
