Morning all, I've recently jumped on the Xplane wagon after the FF767 was released and I still fly in P3dV3 a lot to but one thing that has really caught me attention is the the way the landing lights react with the in sim clouds. In Xplane flying through clouds the lights reflect off them and look great as you're flying through them on approach, I initially thought I was having monitor issues and than common sense kicked in lol And it's left me wondering why this can't be achieved in P3D with it's volumetric weather and all this new AS16/cloud art and equivalent Hifi products?? Would it be down to the plane developer? Cheers Josh

Why don't you save the assignments or lack there of to a file and just reload them after each install?? Josh

Nice looks like a good piece of kit, Does P3dv3 take advantage of a 5.1 or 7.1 surround sound setup? ?

I've tried doing a bit of research before I purchase a new speaker set up and all the old threads date back to at least 2013, I see the logitech Z906 speakers seem to be the goods but I'm curious to see what everyone else has or is enjoying. . Cheers Josh

Check your way points, it could be a database mismatch, switch the efis knob to "plan" and the corresponding fmc to "legs" and cycle through your trip. Sometimes there's a way point in the northern hemisphere with the same name as one in the south.. Hope it helps Josh

I have been arming them on approach but there's no annunciators to say the speed brake is remaining armed, I'll keep a closer eye on that And my problem is the looooong hover between 10-0ft, speed brakes deploy as the main gear kisses terra firma.. But I must admit I'm enjoying xplane and the sloped runways Josh

The FMS has nothing to do with a manual landing, I'm not flying the approach to fast I'm at V-Ref +5 at 1000ft and am fully configured and stable. I've checked the LDW to give me the appropriate V-Ref to...

Well I took the plunge and have gone, Xplane and FF767 mad lol Has anyone else had a an issue with flaring? I cut the throttles at 20ft and it really hovers a lot before touching down and the nose gear doesn't seem to want to go down unless applying forward pressure to the yoke. I've checked my trim units on topcat and it seems to be ok? Josh

Hello there, When I'm on the forum main index page under the "recently discussed" section, the "view more" tab onced clicked on brings up "no new content found" I log on once a day for a browse around and find it hard to beleive that only 16 topics have been discussed/replied to. . I've tried the 3 different computers and tabs with IE, Chrome, FFox... Is it just me or is the great feature no longer working?? Cheers

Thanks very much for your input gents, I looked at the Opencockpits MCP a while ago as I like the "white numbers" on it and now knowing it has PMDG 777 functionality as a reasonable price I'm very much leaning that way.. Vr insight is just not my style and good luck with your product CP flight... Well I might hold off for as long as I can but it's almost double the price of anything out there and since I'd like and EFIS to it may just blow the budget.. Thanks again!! Josh

Hello and good morning, Has anyone out there flying the 77W or 77L been able to get any of the availible after market MCP's to work, Wether it be Goflight, Open cockpits, Fly engravity or anything I've missed.. I realise that these products are for the 737 but apart from the CRS knobs I don't see why it couldn't be made to work for the bigger bird I'm really enjoying the 77W and would love that little bit more emersion..
