I don't think it's common practice to carry the FCOM open at your lap at every flight. -

If that's his choice, then I respect it. But, damn... -
does still exist somewhere?

anyone has these still?

Not too long ago, I used to have these two great checklists for the NGX and the 777, but I ended up losing the files. I still have the bookmarks, but the files are no longer available. Does anyone know anything about these? http://www.limegallery.co.uk/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/777-Long-Turn-Flows.pdf http://www.limegallery.co.uk/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/Boeing-737-NG-Short-Turn-State.pdf These were downright the best checklists ever made for these planes!

Okay, I'm new in this repainting business, and I did some research... I managed to export to .DDS using the nvidia plugin for photoshop and converting the .DDS back into .BMP using DXTBmp -- I think I'm finally getting the hang of this!My only issue is, what settings should I use when I save it as .DDS in order to get the HD quality? And once again, what settings should I use in DXTBmp when converting to .BMP in order for it to not lose any quality? My texture files were obscenely high (25mb each) but the quality was nowhere as good as Carenado's default HD textures, and they're only 4mbs!Any help would be tremendously appreciated.

Well, then I guess that's it! I was just saving them as .BMP and replacing the white ones. I was wondering why the other textures didn't show up on PS... Is that something that can be done with photoshop?
-
Don't mean to be a grave digger, but I'm having trouble repainting the Malibu... all the textures I repainted come out black on the actual model. What could I be doing wrong?

Max RPM, and other things

The alternator is the STBY ALT switch.I actually learned quite a lot from this video: *Note: STBY ALT function doesn't seem to work in this version. -

You can do that by right-clicking the FPL button once you have the FP loaded and active on the RXP GNS530. It generates a *.PLN file under My Documents/Flight Simulator X files. -

Indeed. I should've thought of that earlier. Doing my first flight right now from KORS to KTIW and I've gotta say... she is a beaut... and flies just as good as she looks. -

Oh, then everything's working as it should then. Thanks for the replies! -

I must be doing something wrong then! I get the FP working perfectly on the 530, but no sign of it in the mfd =/ -

So if I understood correctly, all you do is program the fp in the RXP GNS530 and it comes up on the MFD automatically for you? I've tried that, but it doesn't seem to work.
