Since posting this question many months ago I gave learned, partly from this thread, how to navigate SIDS/STARS on the GPS, and later the Honeywell FMC addon that uses the same GPS input. Now, what I didn't mention is I am a real world controller and although the default ATC is limited in FSX it is what it is. I do sometimes fly on IVAO/VATSIM but my time is often divided with my 2 year old son. So, I mostly fly in house. Now, I've learned to update SIDS/STARS manually using ADE but I've noticed when I update the airports with new fixes, SIDS/STARS through the ADE compiler I sometimes get texture anomalies with the updates. I've found that the Approaches and fixes are exportable but does anyone know how to import them or correct/add this info without messing up the rest of the airport? Thank you guys for all your advice. It's helped a lot.

Ok, I believe this has been addressed and there is a result here for this but I can't find it so I'll just write it ... again. Is there a way to assign the correct lights to the correct switch on the default 737 overhead panel. I'm using 3D lighting from A2A 3D lights redux and the VC upgrade from Alejandro but I've noticed the Logo light comes on with the Nav lights and the cockpit light turns on the wing lights too and there is no light for the wheel light or a beam for the taxi light. Anyone know how to fix this on the default 737-800?

Do any of you know if these "Alternate Approaches" that are listed, whether in the GPS or under the default ATC window can be edited?

OK, got it working. It was the Sid i entered for a new airport that stopped it. I'm editing the KLAX file as per the readme but i guess i need to pay more attention to the format.

Does this work with the default ATC? I've been beating myself up trying to get this going but it crashes each time i start it. I'm running a single PC (no network) and have the simconnect as required. If I'm missing something i'd sure like to know. This is sounds like a great add on!

I hate to bring this up again but i'm not sure i got the whole fix. I edited my FSX.cfg for airport lights which are now set at .35. I've had great results with this until i updated a couple of airports with photo scenery. Now these 2 airports have the bubble lights (as i like to call them) again. The other airports are still great so is there something i need to adjust/download/install again to fix these other 2?
