August 19, 201213 yr This is a hard one, Bilal. I think that you'd better have those 5 'O' levels and 3 'A' levels plus the right attitude and aptitude - and a ppl with sights on a commercial by the time you're 17 or 18 - for a successful airline pilot career - and you'd better have that career locked in your mind at that time with the full knowledge a support of your family. This is no small undertaking. ... and - yes - it's easier and less expensive in the States or Canada. i7 [email protected] | 32GB RAM | EVGA RTX 3080Ti | Maximus Hero VII | 512GB 860 Pro | 512GB 850 Pro | 256GB 840 Pro | 2TB 860 QVO | 1TB 870 EVO | Seagate 3TB Cloud | EVGA 1000 GQ | Win10 Pro | EK Custom water cooling.

August 19, 201213 yr Just thought I'd make it clear, it's usually advised that you have the 5+ GCSE's A*-C, with A-levels in Maths and Physics no lower than a C and another of your choice. You're doing a btec course which isn't an A-level, it's a vocational course, A-levels are a separate. I'd like to wish you luck with flight training but competition is very tough from what I've seen and these are only minimum qualifications that airlines and training providers will look for because of competition, although there is no educational requirement for an ATPL. Are you doing A-levels by the way? Joshua Elliott
