Take-off limits

Featured Replies

Sirs,

Will the FMC in the new 777 have the abilitiy to calculate take-off limits and advise whether the a/c is weight limited or TODA limited?

Having extensively flown the 'Queen' I consider this to be a very useful, if not essential, tool.

Regards

Mike

I would assume so since it's PMDG,

Gentlemen

The B777 with the Electronic Flight Bag (EFB)option has the Onboard Performance Tool (OPT) application which enables you to calculate the takeoff/landing performance data.

If this is not included, I am confident TOPCAT will have the data avaiable shortly after the release.

The EFB won't be with the initial release, but should be released shortly thereafter once it's completed.

I highly doubt TOPCAT will get an update any time soon... Even for the 777.

Thanks!
