Yes reverser spray works with 737ngx very well. I use the ed cox reverser spray

If I remember well I have seen the reverse spray effect on the "default" NGX, without an addon effect. Am I wrong?

I don't think so. In my ngx on wet conditions i only see a small vapor under the aircraft and on the wheels
