August 26, 201213 yr After much trial and error, I finally got my act together and completed the private pilot check ride successfully... only I didn't get my certificate! I've done it twice more since then, and still nothing, despite the fact that missions still seem to give me rewards, and other rewards such as "n hours in a twin prop" still seem to update. It's such a pain. Is this a known issue? Is there some workaround other than flying through the whole thing again and just crossing my fingers? I want my certificate!
August 26, 201213 yr Are you totally sure you did really everything 100% right? Because whe I did the "ATPL checkride", it was necessary to bring the A/C to a complete stop on the RWY of KPAE, which I did not read/remember when I landed (and its totally stupid to actually stop an aircraft on an active RWY without a really good reason, especially in the weather conditions I faced on that approach), and thus the mission was not completed successfully, htough I did not get any message that I've failed. Regards, Flo Florian
August 26, 201213 yr In order to get a mission reward, you have to see the mission successful message at the end of it. If you got that, then you should get any rewards associated with the mission. Ken
August 27, 201213 yr The PPL check ride has been a problem in FSX forever. I don't know of too many that have accomplished it. I seems there is a glitch in some of the exercises. The only thing I can offer on this is to do a search. It seems like some years ago, there was a big discussion about this and someone came up with a way to complete the mission. Good luck. Thank you.
