Spontaneous throttle movements

Featured Replies

Hi all,Please help me with this. Often, when I am at the gate preparing for a flight according to a IVR flight, the engines suddenly and spontaneously go to half or even full throttle. This may also happen when I am at the runway, waiting for the AI traffic to land before getting clearance to take off. I have no idea what causes this. I've tried to detect a pattern in this behaviour, but there seems to be none. Anybody have any ideas to correct this annoting behaviour?

Sounds like your using gameport controllers. Although USB controllers decrease this effect to some degree, their still better all around. Check your sensitivity and dead zone settings in your FS2k4 menu also...

Also, if your using two controllers make sure that the throttle axis is not assigned to both of them and only assigned to the axis you want to use.I use an X-45 and MSFF2 and had this problem.See you in the fence...CYYZ
