August 28, 201213 yr With the RW Weather, or it's maybe only a coincidence, but I have experimented with a few airports around the World and even in areas with intense precipitation, stronger winds... there was never any turbulence or strong shear.... Very interesting!!!! I don't know where from X-Plane10 downloads it's weather data, if it is from LM servers or directly from NOAA (???) I'll keep trying to find out more about it... :-) Flying gliders since 1980 Flightsimming since 1992 AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)
August 28, 201213 yr Funny you should mention this as I was trying to look for the source last night while trying to do some flight planning. I thought it may be NOAA but I'm not certain. Rhydian
August 28, 201213 yr Author And, it was just a coincidence because indeed ate present ZULU most stations around the World are showing similar winds :-) but I just visited KMIA and the turbulence is there, although moderate :-) Flying gliders since 1980 Flightsimming since 1992 AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)
