With the RW Weather, or it's maybe only a coincidence, but I have experimented with a few airports around the World and even in areas with intense precipitation, stronger winds... there was never any turbulence or strong shear....

I don't know where from X-Plane10 downloads it's weather data, if it is from LM servers or directly from NOAA (???)

 

I'll keep trying to find out more about it...

Funny you should mention this as I was trying to look for the source last night while trying to do some flight planning. I thought it may be NOAA but I'm not certain.

And, it was just a coincidence because indeed ate present ZULU most stations around the World are showing similar winds :-) but I just visited KMIA and the turbulence is there, although moderate :-)
