September 1, 201213 yr Hello, Do we need this tool for P3D? Emile EBBR Z590 Aorus Elite, i9-11900K 3.5Ghz Nvidia RTX 5070, 32 GB Mem, SSD 3 Tera , 3 monitors Win11 Pro X64 LM P3D V6.1 Little Nav Map Hifisim Nvidia 591.44
September 1, 201213 yr Not that familiar with that thing. Personally I wouldn't bother with that pseudo voodoo stuff with P3D. LM has done some optimizing with the shader and textures and I would be afraid of hurting more than helping. OR, if it aint broke dont fix it! Though it says it only checks for files with Alph channels? Tis JMO.

September 2, 201213 yr DxtFixerX scans your textures for dxt3 and dxt5 compressed .bmp files that have bad alpha channel data and fixes the issue. In FS9 and FSX these files cause stuttering, and as it seems a lot of FSX sceneries can be used in P3D you can use the tool for P3D as well. I don't have P3D myself (yet), but as this is a texture format issue I think you can safely give it a try.
