Great product by the way, i use it all the time. The only problem i am having at the moment is spurious commands most of which is the word "down", i can see the text coming up even when i'm not saying anything and often it recognises a cough or something as "gear down" which is really annoying as i am having to manually cyle the gear about 4 or 5 times a flight. Is there an easy way round this such as disabling the "gear down" command?

Sound like your microphone is picking up background noises. Try calibrate it.

 

You can mute the microphone by the two following ways:

 

"Soft mute" That is just temporarily muting your microphone when the button is pushed:

Under FS Control set-up, select the "Propeller Sync (On/Off)"

 

For "Hard mute" that will turn of the microphone til you push the button again:

Under FS Control set-up, select the "Alternate Static Source (On/Off)"

This can be turned on and off using the "HM" button on the FS2Crew main panel.
