September 5, 201213 yr I am working on a Project Airbus A320 paint, and I am not satisfied with the texture's reflectiveness. Can this be remedied? -Michael
September 5, 201213 yr Probably not. Most, if not all, of the Project Airbus models are FS9 models which do not use specs. For FSs9 models your only option for editing restrictiveness is to edit the Alpha channel. Make it darker where you want more reflection. You can verify if the model is FSX native or not by opening the .mdl file with Notepad. If you see something like RIFFMDL8MDLH at the beginning of the document then you have an FS9 model. An FSX native model will be similar but have an X where the 8 is. regards, Joe The best gift you can give your children is your time.
September 7, 201213 yr Thanks Joe. The definition for the use of specs is in the MDL file. only native FSX mdl files have (or can have) this definition. Adding specs to FS9 files implemented in FSX is not possible.
