September 8, 201213 yr Hi Guys, I find the gamma too bright in FSX, colours look a little washed out in the daytime. Is there anything I can adjust in the FSX.cfg? Either gamma or saturation would be good. I don't think it's my monitor because when I look at screenshots or videos I've made it looks ok, just in FSX it could look better like my other sims. I use an ATI card so I can't do any of those NVidia tweaks, and the ATI profiles don't have any gamma adjustments available. thanks
September 8, 201213 yr Commercial Member No there is not something in fsx.cfg.... i would try enbseries for fsx to adjust the gamma.... __________________________________________________________________________________________ My FS Photos - My MSFS Settings - i7-14700K / 64GB RAM / MSI 4070 Ti SUPER / 1440p
September 8, 201213 yr Author Yeah I don't like ENB because it made my system unstable. I might change to a custom monitor profile or something

September 8, 201213 yr Author Thanks, it looks like its just FXAA though, which is a form of anti aliasing I guess FSX is getting quite old now, I can't expect it to have every setting
September 8, 201213 yr Thanks, it looks like its just FXAA though, which is a form of anti aliasing It can actually enhance the game visually. If you want help in setting it up,let me know! DIMITRI
September 8, 201213 yr Dan, If it is just Gamma you are after, you could also try Gamma Panel by Tomasz Porosinski. No install needed. A very nice little tool which does exactly what it is supposed to do. It also allows you to define hot-keys to change a profile in-game and works fine in Seven. You can download it from CNET (use the "Direct Download Link" to avoid the nag-ware) KInd regards Jean-Paul I7 8700K / Fractal Design Celsius S24 watercooling / ASRock Z370 Extreme4 motherboard / Corsair 32GB 3200mhz DDR4 / INNO3D iChiLL GeForce GTX 1080 Ti X3 / Samsung SSD 960 EVO M.2 PCIe NVMe 500GB / Seasonic-SSR-850FX power supply / Fractal Design Define R5 Black case / AOC Q3279VWF 32″ 2560x1440 monitor / Benq GL2450 24″ 1920x1080 monitor / Track-IR 4
