Runway lights

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

I have this issue abt my runway lights. Its gives a bright bloom effect.im using scenary airport textures from imagine sim.is anyone else having this problem?

Need assistance on this pos.

Welcome to the ImagineSim conundrum. I bet this is KIAD, KLGA or KCLT -- or maybe even KATL v2. This is a known bug with ImagineSim software that they have not (will not?) fixed. KLGA has a fix but then it breaks other things (building textures).

Sorry, the only fix here is to remove the runway_lights.bgl (and not having runway lights at night), flying them during the day or performing a complicated runway light reversal decompile which I have never tried.

Sorry--

Im not sure this would help but you could give it a shot.... this is from another user who posted a 'light fix' a long time ago.... backup fsx.cfg first...

The lines in BOLD are what was added/changed.....its been so long I dont remember which....

Think that makes it worse but heck, anything is worth a try with these.
