September 14, 201213 yr So after sitting on my fsx software because I never had a good enough computer to use it, I finally have a good pc. I just learned how to addon aircraft and have added about 3 so far. My question is if im in free flight and flying around will the AI use the planes I downloaded or would I be the only one flying it? Im still no to fsx and learning a lot daily. This question has been bothering me and after googling I still havent found an answer. Thanks in advanve.
September 14, 201213 yr Commercial Member Heya, Welcome to AVSIM!! If your aircraft.cfg file is setup correctly ATC will pick it up whether it is VFR or IFR. And especially if you takeoff without clearance. :-) You can also search around in the FSX forum. There is plenty of info there and people to help you. http://forum.avsim.n...1-ms-fsx-forum/ Regards, Dave Opper HiFi Support Manager

To answer your question, no, the AI will not fly around in your downloaded aircraft. Oliver Cooksey Owner of the PMDG 737, 747 and Majestic Q400.
September 14, 201213 yr Commercial Member Guess it would help if I had my glasses on. ATC will use your aircraft for ATC purposes. Your downloaded aircraft will be used by you. You can download AI aircraft also to add in as new (non-stock) AI but I have never messed with that myself so I can't help you with that one. Regards, Dave Opper HiFi Support Manager
September 15, 201213 yr To add more variety to the AI in FS, check out world of ai: http://world-of-ai.com/ They have a very easy to use installer, the only disadvantage is that you have to install every airline separately (and they don't have much in the way of GA traffic, if that's your thing).
