September 15, 201213 yr Hello everyone, I'm wondering if it is a normal procedure that when you pushback the FMS get disconnected because of lost GPU ? Avionics are turned off by copilot (with FS2crew) but FMS just get disconnected and when pushback is over it is energized again but has lost many info that had been entered previously. How do you deal with this ?? Thanks. Souheil Al-Mallah
September 15, 201213 yr Hey, check this thread out, pretty long discussion about it: http://forum.avsim.net/topic/377648-why-do-i-have-to-re-program-the-fmc-after-starting-the-engines/#entry2401409 Regards,Kyle
September 15, 201213 yr Correct, please check the existing threads first. From the old thread: FMS is independent from avionics switches. And the gyros come back quickly.
