September 23, 201213 yr May I suggest the following to every human being whose intention is to provide directions....Please be specific as to how to find or do something. Eg. If someone ask for something they have been struggling to find (as in this post), be kind to be specific. In this case provide the link, if possible. Recently, I was reading a post about Posky 777 about someone mentioning of some new "great panels" It took nine days ( and several questions about where and how) before anyone (from those saying : "Uhhhh yeah great panels), to actually post a link as to where to actually find the exact panels. Googling for an answer on this hobby does not always brings up what we're looking for...especially if it's something complex. So, again be specific!

Sorry, if that was directed to me, I regarded it specific enough to say "simviation, search term: Posky 777", because that's actually all you have to do, and I've linked that at least twice in the past months, so I thought "Why should I link it a third time, if I tell you the search term?" Anyways here it is, not possible to be any more specific, becaus the OP didn't say what exact T7-200 model/livery he wants. Once again: sorry if your comment was in my direction. Best regards, Flo Florian

People should just learn to use Google and internal search engine of Avsim & other sites instead of expecting someone else to always do all the work for them. Seriously it does make things a lot easier and makes people better users of internet.

And please accept my apologies if I sounded a bit harsh- not my intentions.

Seriously it does make things a lot easier and makes people better users of internet. Hi FScamp, I certainly understand you point of view. And yes we have heard the term "learn to fish, so you can eat" and many other expressions which teaches us the importance to make that extra effort in life to learn to survive. However, I also believe the importance of teaching, training or explaining something with spesicific details when necessary. However, there are instances (search forums and you'll see) in which things can become very complex, and it takes a lot of input from knowledgeable folks to get something understood by the one asking the question. And, this is where I have learned to be as accurate as possible. Avisim Personal "wow" experience: --- Check this out --- I have been simming since roughly around the year 1895, sorry I meant 1995. I have a tremendous passion for Aviation, and when I discovered Flight Simulation, I knew I was in the captains' seat...Well at least that's how I felt. So, time went by until we came to FSX and the famous OC of processors. All this was over-whelming to me. No matter how much a tried and read, and asked, and researched, the OC was still failing. Then came along this gentleman (which I will never forget), Vic Baron. He offered to help me. And lo and behold this was a whole different animal (I mean animal in a good way). I had spent roughly near $3,000 to build this new computer (2 years ago). When after about 3 months of building it on my own (reading thousand posts and asking for help), the computer came up with different blue screens. No matter what I tried it still got blue screens. Vic came back on scene, and he literally spent almost an entire month working with me, day after day, morning, afternoon, and late at night until the issue was resolved. At some point nearing a month of trouble-shooting I was at the point of throwing the entire computer ($3,000) in the garbage. Fortunately Vic was not willing to do that...A complete stranger poured his knowledge and time on me without me promising $1.00 in return. He stayed with me from the beginning, week after week , after week, until we resolved the issue. I just wanted to share with you what a fine gentleman, knowledgeable, and patient person is cable of accomplishing. How well we teach, train, show, or explain something (and how well we can learn), will determine a success or a failure... And, this principle applies to almost every situation in life, where teaching and learning is involved…from the very basic to the most advanced stuff…The Same Principle. Tak care !!!

Seriously it does make things a lot easier and makes people better users of internet. Of course you are right. However, I am sure thankful that a lot of good people showed termendous goodwill and patience with me when I was learning the technical aspects of this hobby. It must have been frustrating when I seemed dumber than a box of boots, and could not even seem to understand and follow the simplest directions. Never once did any of them sarcastically remind me that "Google is my friend", although it surely might have been warranted. Bottom line? A question is just an excuse to stop and help someone with an answer, and perhaps to help turn a bad day for them into a better one. There is no link or app for that. Kind regards,
September 24, 201213 yr Commercial Member Yeah it's indeed great that there are so many nice people here ready to help, a year ago or so I had very complicated problem with my computer freezing when playing FSX and some other games, without help of some very nice people here in Avsim I think I wouldn't have been able to solve it as technical problems with OS aren't something I would know much about and I didn't know exactly what to Google to find solution... Also seen many forums where new people with same questions are always told to use search functions without anyone trying to actually help, I think lack of that kind of bad attitude is indeed what makes Avsim feel so friendly place. I guess after many years of doing FS, gaming, hosting gaming servers to my friends problem solving has become so usual to me that I often forget how difficult everything felt when I was new to all this stuff. Just saying that also getting used to searching solutions and information through Google & similar sites can help a lot in future.

Not everyone is an "expert" Be nice and help you know. If its your Hobie/Passion you would want to answer any questions any time..

Kind regards, Hi Stephen, Were you able to finally replace (or merge) the JB panels to the POSKY 777? I am just finidng out about POKY's 777 and those new panels, and i'm seriously looking into installing the 777, and then making the changes with those pannels. -- I am intrested in the 777-300 ER
September 24, 201213 yr Were you able to finally replace (or merge) the JB panels to the POSKY 777? Hi Johnny, Whoa, it seems like it has been a really long time since I tried, but I could never make it work without a hitch. There were always some or all guages missing, or some other kind of problem, (I don't remember what,) so I eventually just gave up trying. Now I am looking forward to either, or both, of the Captain Sim and/or PMDG 777 models. The 777-300 has been my favorite ever since the days when the Meljet versions were state-of-the-art. If you guys make it all work maybe I will give it another shot. Kind regards,
