September 23, 201213 yr Hi, 1) overclocking is not done by "forms" to fill in the bios settings 2) before you even hit thinking of those 5.0s, you need to know one or another thing about overclocking (means reading and learning) hardware section is full of guys running 3770k's and overclocking them. i suggets you head on there and start searching. then some more searching on the net on known hardware sites, like hardocp, xtremesystems, there are surely many tutorials on how to OC.
September 25, 201213 yr See the 3rd link in my signature if you want to have *any* shot at hitting 4.8GHz or higher on Ivy Bridge. I have been involved in 4 IB overclocks first-hand and all of them required de-lidding to have reasonable temperatures above 4.5-4.6GHz.
September 27, 201213 yr Author during manufacturing I already did the pasta and in the meantime I overclocked it to 4.8 and it is very stable. in flight the temps are 70 degrees and it very very smooth ,no stuttering no flashes and that all with the standard cfg .no tweaks. paula
