Before I spend some $$ on UT Canada & USA I wonder if anyone could tell me if I could download UT with FTX central on FSX dedault and not cause problems if I want to use UT outside of FTX areas. It sounds like FTX is not going to cover very many other NA areas and UT is a huge step up from FSX. Thanks.

No problem at all, in fact there is a forum over at ORBX FTX Compatibility Forum that explains what airports to exclude and other minor changes.

As ramon pointed out ,there is no problem using both.once you install any FTX product you get an application called FTX central that allows you to switch between default and FTX scenery.

UTX would come under default scenery

I used both for a while without any problem.just make sure before using either that it is selected in the FTX central control panel.

that way the scenery will display correctly.
