LED Display Issues.

Featured Replies

Occasionally after boot-up my Samsung display shows blurred desktop icons and text. The situation is rectified after re-booting. We had a severe summer thunder storm back in August and I am wondering if a close lightening strike may have damaged the display. When I say close it was lightening then the thunder clap which was instantaneous. I don't think it's the video card as I figure that I would have experienced trouble with the other system components inside the computer.

Are LED displays that sensitive to lightening?

check to ensure your vid drivers are up todate and that the old ones have been cleaned off your system

Be sure that the VGA/DVI cable head is clear of obstruction. [Dust, dirt, etc]

Thanks fellas.

I know that my driver's are a little out of date and I will check the connections. Thanks for the feedback.
