July 2, 200421 yr Hi,A little of topic, maybe. But I wanted to look to the preview wmvhttp://fs4.flightsim.com/video/c130_cable.wmv of the Captain Sim C130 but I only get a very low resolution picture in basic colors. Someone knows whats wrong ? Thanks,Hugo
July 2, 200421 yr I clicked the link--nothing seems to be wrong. It's just a low res video likely made that way to save bandwidth. It seems to start in sephia tones in order to give a sense of the history behind the c-130, then transitions to color about mid-way through. But the low res is going to make the color seem pretty basic.-John
July 2, 200421 yr Author Well, thats not what I am looking at, the screen is in a very low res, you barely can recognize something and the colors are psychedelic. The opening screen starts with a filled green rectangle. The whole thing looks like you are watching an infrared camera in false color mode.Hugo
July 2, 200421 yr Try cycling your desktop from 32-bit to 16-bit, or vise-versa... See if that works...-John
July 2, 200421 yr Hugo - Did you download it or are you streaming it? If you're looking at a video stream, how fast is your internet connection? It could be that the connection is just too slow even for a low-rate video. If you haven't downloaded it, try that and see if it's better.Doug Intel 10700K @ 5.1Ghz, Asus Hero Maximus motherboard, Noctua NH-U12A cooler, Corsair Vengeance Pro 32GB 3200 MHz RAM, RTX 2060 Super GPU, Cooler Master HAF 932 Tower, Thermaltake 1000W Toughpower PSU, Windows 10 Professional 64-Bit, 100TB of disk storage. July 3, 200421 yr Author Hi,Thank you all for your response. I am streaming, have a broadband cable connection and I am using the latest ATI beta drivers downloaded from guru3D (maybe it is the latter where it all goes wrong, but this driver gives me the best picture so far for FS9 (The earlier drivers have given some "page switching" view of the propellor disk (like it was build up from an upper and lower part), now they are just perfect)Thank you all.Hugo
