737NG (FS9) Autopilot does not follow SID

Featured Replies

Hello,

i tried to fly a SID, where the 1st waypoint is 2nm in RWY direction, the 2nd waypoint is 5nm further, but a 110deg left turn has to be flown - from 340 deg RWY heading to 227 deg of the second leg.

At about 1000 ft above ground i switched on the AP and pressed the LNAV and VNAV buttons. After reaching the 1st waypoint the AP tries a liitle bit to turn left, then right, once again left/right and after all it flies straight forward in RWY heading and after a while the LNAV light distinguishes.

The ND (Navigation Display) shows a pretty nice arc, which unfortunately is not followed. Are the first 2 waypoints tool far away from each other?

I used the Navigraph Database from November last year for building the flightplan.

Thanks in advance for any useful hints.
