  1. I think it is a very durable aircraft. I even remember seeing a -100 landing on rough ground (as a test). Those are eye candy. Last is my favourite. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dAkJYOt3To4
  2. This was one of the funniest things I've ever seen on Facebook.
  3. Same ! And all I wan't is a good long haul bus.
  4. Same here. Possibly it is just that our visual senses replacing our imagination.
  5. Lol magic tool that is. I heard it fixing problems many times.
  6. Hello. You may use the 737 NG Legacy forum just below. And please describe which sid you fly. (You should sign with you real name in these forums as a rule). Regards.
  7. Auto brakes helps to achieve more passenger comfort at landing roll IMO. It helps to keep a stable deceleration rate. AFAIK, when you hit reversers, autobrakes sets the pressure on the brakes and keeps the same amount of deceleration (in this scenario, it decreases the pressure on the brakes when reversers came into effect). Please someone confirm if it is true. Thanks.
  8. It is the TRIM TANK fuel quantity. Please read: http://airbusboeing.blogspot.com/2007/09/a340-fuel-system-distribution-briefing.html

    PMDG 777 EFB

I think 3rd party applications that you would run on a seperate laptop are better for EFB (suggesting one has a seperate laptop).
  10. Same + MCP button is unrealistic ( :) More unrealistic comparing to kyb. that is...)
  11. Long haul preparation takes 30 minutes for me, maybe longer for oceanic routes. Including many things like step climbs, fuel check points etc. Total cockpit preparation takes close to this figure. Stored routes help making it shorter somewhat. Would really like to have the most realistic option available. BTW, really starting up a plane from cold and dark is possibly not used that frequently (rl pilots may give better info on that).
  12. I always use CTRL+SHIFT+G More realistic then other ways IMO.
  13. THY Virtual for me. Fly THY. Mostly real world routes with real world flight plans. Getting assignments monthly, have a very good flight evaluation system (like fspassenger), even your correct light usage, fuel calculations and landing is evaluated, so differenciates good pilot from careless pilot. Many online events and even some real world gatherings.
  14. Seems like PMDG + GF (GirlFriend) for many is known as not a good combo :D
  15. It is stated in the manual that PMDG planes don't like to be switched in FSX (in flight that is). Too complex a thing to switch. Try returning bac kto FSX manu and select your other model.
  16. It is that, our chances are %1000 higher than someone knowing nothing in the controls. I believe, a good NGX simmer can autoland, and even land the thing with good advicing from the professionals on the ground. But on landing and takeoff, the things you may think are the easiest may become the things that are the least expected, like keeping it on center, landing it on center etc. With a lot of time on Falcon's BMS version, and it is the NGX of F-16 simulations, I was able to have a good real simulator experience, to the shock of RW pilots and simulator crew. I flew superbly, deployed weapons on target, etc etc, landed sucessfully many times, even with bad weather (HUD makes it easy). So you cannot be a RW 737 pilot with just simming experience, No Way Sir, respect the lifes spent working hard to sit in that seat. But you do increase your chances a lot, of saving your b**t in situations comparing to a default FSX 737 flyer, or just people who know nothing about aviation and flight simming.
  17. And we don't have the ground-cockpit pushback callouts either. But we have an ultra realistic plane and that's what was expected. you can fullfill copilot callouts (and much much more) using FS2Crew. It has an voice version where you literally commanding the FO by your voice. I used it for IFLY, it is very good. Just not my kind of doing things in a sim (I like to do everything myself).
  18. Some work on panel.cfg file would solve the problem possibly, but I think it is better for PMDG to create a solution. That way we may not broke something else while trying to fix our 4:3 panels. I'm having the same problem.
