Paint texture fault

Recommended Posts

PAN PAN PAN

Hi

I have painted my 747-400 and I think something must be missing in the textures. As when I switch on my landing lights this happens:

No lights on:

Lights switched on:

I have looked in the Paint kit for added textures and looked in the files of other aircraft, but cannot find an answer. Please can someone please point me to the right direction. Thank you..

Help Me pleasee

Fault #1 - reopening a topic that's nearly a year old.

Fault #2 - hijacking someone else's topic, that's over a year old

Fault #3 - not being specific about what kind of help you're requesting...

While i'd suggest creating a new thread describing the problem you're having, as long as this one's been dragged up from the dead, we might as well address it here.  So, using specific terms, what problem are you having?

:Applause: .....the great thing about Kyle is he says what most of us are thinking, but are too lazy to type.

Bravo..

At the risk of being flamed for re-opening this thread again...I have the same issue as the original thread starter. He says he resolved it with his logic...a little more detail on the actual fix would be appreciated!

Thanks,

Todd

@Todd

I was not using the correct spec file.

How did you manage to fix this? Like can you be more specific when you say "wrong spec file". This issue really bugs me, especially and product i paid $55 for.

If you go to the pmdg aircraft open the file and you will see the list of files that make up the paint.

You need to find the files that are ending in _S or SPEC or spec, copy those file over to your paint files

Or in the paint kit use the file: pmdg_737NGX_fuselage_2_night2
