3Dconnexion crazy mouse controllers

Featured Replies

Hiya folks...

So, the inner geek in me has been watching some Airbus vid's on the YouBoob, and I saw a pilot using a tiny tiller on the Airbus which looked awesome, and that reminded me of a rather expensive mouse I saw once, and thought "hmmmm, that would be really cool"...

So I rushed over here to our fav forum to ask you guys, has anybody ever used a 3Dconnexions mouse with FSX or any other flight sim, and if so, how did you get on with it?

For those who have no idea what I'm on about, check these out:

Watching the Airbus vid got me thinking how cool one of these would be for tiller steering, and camera controls in flight sims, as well as replacing the dull old desktop mouse, less desktop clutter if you can have a cooler mouse and use it in flight sims too :-)

I'd love to hear anybodies feedback on their experiences with it?

This is a really old topic, I know, but I wonder if anyone's tried it.  Found some videos where people were using it for gaming.  Looks like a reasonably priced way to fluidly change your view and an alternative to TrackIR.

There's a nice video on the Amazon site that shows using it with Google Earth...
