how to start ASE minimized in the systray

Is there a way to launch ASE directly to the systray minimized on windows startup

thank you.

s there a way to launch ASE directly to the systray minimized on windows startup

To start ASE Minimized on windows 7 boot. 1st right click on desktop icon\properties\Run\minimized. Next perform the following. (There are ways to start ASE with FS start using the EXE.dll or FSUIPC registered.)

To autostart a program that does not have that option in its setup just copy the icon to your

startup folder.

For ALL Users copy to :

"C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup"

Right Click Start Button - Explorer All Users and navigate to that folder.

------------------------------------

For specific Users copy to :

"C:\Users\The User Name\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup"

thanks for the replies however i should have been more specific. I already knew how to start a program at win startup, and knew about the start minimised option. however ASE does not start minimised, it just refuses to. are there any command line switches that can be utilised? unfortunately running this:

C:\Program Files\HiFi\ASE\ASE_Exec.exe /?

produces nothing meaningful

I know this is an old post, but see knowboday has addressed issue or come up with a resolution.

I have the same problem. ASN is set to open mimimized, but it will not... always shows on desktop.

I use "HIDmacros" to use a single assigned "hot key" to minimize window with one push using X/Y coordinates on the minimize button on the top right of ASN window. Beats having to use the mouse.
