  1. I know this is an old post, but see knowboday has addressed issue or come up with a resolution. I have the same problem. ASN is set to open mimimized, but it will not... always shows on desktop. I use "HIDmacros" to use a single assigned "hot key" to minimize window with one push using X/Y coordinates on the minimize button on the top right of ASN window. Beats having to use the mouse.
  2. Thanks for your help. Bummer I have the panel but cannot use it. At least it looks good!
  3. Kyle, I mean I have the actual PANEL installed in my center/aft electronics panel. I need the PMDG SDK codes so I can assign FSUIPC assignments to the panel buttons so I can use the panel in my flight simulator without using the mouse. Now that the panel is fuctional with PMGD 737, I cannot seem to find the information in SDK for inputs required. I am NOT refering to the EFIS PANEL, but the actual "Weather Radar Control Panel" on aft center electronics console". I know this is probably the wrong place to continue this conversation...I am SORRY before I get yelled at... I would post a picture of my panel here but this forum will not allow me to do so.
  4. Sorry for asking... I don't live in this forum, only ask a question once every few months. What location would you like me to use???????
  5. Does anyone know the control codes for the weather radar panel? I just instaled one on my aft electronics panel, but cannot fimd anything in the sdk for the button assingments. Is there a newer sdk for version SP1d? Thanks, Larry
  6. I tried the download link to Aerosoft (above post), but it keeps telling me the key is incorrect. I downloaded my NGX from PMDG website. What am I doing wrong? Is the downloadable file on PMDG website version SP1d? All I wat to do is update from SP1c to SP1d. I cannot seem to find SDK/control codes for the weather radar control panel pushbuttons on center console/aft electronics. Thanks for any help with this, Larry UPDATE; Since I cannot delete this post, I am editing it. I just realized I already have SP1d installed. Just need control code info for weather radar panel if anyone knows where to find the info.
  7. THanks for your info. I will use this on next flight as I have ASN. I have also purchased the panel from ebay to install in my sim build. Does anyone know the actual name for the panel?
  8. Hi, Can anyone tell me the name and function of panel just below the cargo fire panel? It is the panel with 2 gain knobs and 12 square pushbuttons. I cannot find any information on it and have never used/needed it during a flight. Thanks for any help, Larry
  9. THank you for your help guys. I have acquired a hub and switch (free) and will use wireless usb for internet. Will post results when I get it set up. Larry
  10. Thanks for your reply. It's nice when someone is willing to offer help instead of critisism as I see so often in flight sim forums. I have switched to using a patch cable and all is well. I can access internet on both computers (wireless) and the program runs perfect. I picked up a "TRENDnet" ethernet switch the other day. Can I use this to acomplish a 4 computer network (my goal)? Thanks for your help! Larry
  11. Hello, I use wireless connection through a (Netgear wireless external USB adapter). I pay my neighbor and use her wireless internet and do not have a hard wired connection to my router from a modem etc. I recently networked 2 computers together through my router. I cannot access the internet with a browser....ALSO- Active Sky Next- will not download real time weather unless I disable TCP/IPv4 through the local area connection "properties" box. This will allow an internet connection AND ASN will download weather as it should. The reason I networked the computers together is to run Simplugins' "EFIS Panel Builder" and a wireless "FMC" program remotely to increase my frame-rates (wideview also installed with plans for that down the road). Problem I have is the Efis Panel builder will not connect between the 2 computers when TCP/IPv4 is disabled. If I enable TCP/IPv4, the EFIS Panel Builder works just fine, but I cannot download realtime weather. My question is: How can I reconfigure the Efis Panel builder, router or computers to use TCP/IPv6? Or maybe set some static IP through my Netgear router? I am just not very good with networks and IP addresses etc. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks. Larry PS- I noticed the "Multicast Group Address" setting in Panel Builder can be changed. Hopefully this could be something fairly easy to setup.
  12. I was said that wrong, shift plus "number" keys, not "F" keys. My typo. Mike, Which panel file are you looking at, I see 5 of them? Shift 8 opens the lower lighting panel. Shift 9 opens the lower DU. Thanks, Larry
  13. I found using shift plus "F" keys will open most pertinent windows with 737 (radios, overhead and throttles, etc) but cannot find key command for MCP window. I will be installing EZdoc and will probably give up the key command option for now.
  14. Hi Dan, I updated signature, sorry about that. Hi David, EZdoc looks cool, I will get the addon. I do use ASN. It also appears EZdoc views are accessible via keyboard commands, very useful for my situation. Hi Michael, NGX does have an MCP window. It is accessible from: View menu / drop down / Instrument Panel / MCP (full) selection. Thanks for all your input! Larry Hi Chris, I built a full overhead panel, pilot side center console, MCP and pilot side efis panel. I could not figure out how to program Opencockpits LED output boards so I need to see MCP for "course", "speed" and altitude adjustments etc. I use 3 "32" inch lcds with triple head to go. My MCP has "generic" numbers in the LED displays only for that "feel there" effect. I want to set up a button on my MCP to open the MCP window for these adjustments. I currently use the "test" button on my COMM radio to open the radio panel for quick frequency changes which are done on my center console radio panel. The LEDS on radio panel are not connected to simulator as the MCP are not either. I use a real Boeing radio panel wires to Leo Bodnar usb card.
  15. Hi Dan, I updated my signature, sorry about that. Hi David, EZdoc looks cool, I will get the addon. I do use ASN. It also appears EZdoc views are accessible via keyboard commands, which will be very useful for my situation. Hi Michael, NGX does have an MCP window. It is accessible from: View menu / drop down / Instrument Panel / MCP (full) selection. I just cannot find a keyboard command for it or where to assign one. CDU setup does not offer an option for the MCP window, only actual controls on the MCP itself. Thanks for all your input! Larry
