October 5, 201213 yr If this happens only with egyptian ADs, it's probably related to scenery. Try an airport far from those you have addon sceneries or AFCADs. If it happens worldwide, what might help: - Deleting logbook.bin or renaming it logbook.binbak - Rebuilding fsx.cfg - Checking memory frequency, timings and voltage - Checking if your PC is capable to run fsx with current settings. October 10, 201213 yr What is your operating system? Windows 7? 64 bit or 32 bit? You can try creating a new user account - http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Create-a-user-account. It sounds like you have a problem with FSX or your system figuring out who's the Administrator. Do you have UAC turned on (Windows 7)? Disable UAC and do not run FSX in compatibility mode or as the Administrator. I have no idea what your computer system is but if you have Windows 7 or Vista, click on the Start button, type User Access Controls in the search box then look up in the menu and click on How to enable or disable UAC. I do not know why you would need compatibility mode settings to run FSX as it runs great in the Vista and Windows 7 environment. Can you also post your latest error/crash report? Download AppCrashView from the following link and copy/paste the info into this post - http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/app_crash_view.html.
