how do you edit text in the aircraft cfg,file?(i.e. on a ryanair B737) i wanted to keep the original aircraft the same and copy the file and change the registration on the fuselage and on the wings if the registration is there(i want to be able to have both of them in flight simulator)-i am new to this and have no experience in this area.i wanted to do this with both ai and flyable aircraft-also would u need the authors permission for this?

Just double-click the aircraft.cfg and it should open up in Notepad. Make the edits and save. You do not need the developer's permission.

Take note that the registration on most 3rd party models is added on the paint of the aircraft so you would have to edit the BMP or DDS files to change the registration.
