I tried to install fsx with windows 8 but get a message saying "1603 fatal error during installation Consult windows installer help(Msi.chmi)or MSDN for more information".can anybody help me resolve this.

Can I fly north Atlantic tracks and rnav approaches on the level d 767 for fsx if I use the airac that comes with the level d 767 and the navaids that come with fsx and don't update them.

I have ordered fsx online and also shortly going to order the level d 767 for fsx.Will the navaids in fsx match up with the airac in the level d 767 for fsx.Would I have to update the fsx navaids and the airac for the level d 767 for fsx?.I would probably prefer not to update it because what I have read on the internet about it,it looks complicated.How up to date are the fsx navaids that come with fsx and the airac that comes with the level d for fsx? and could i fly for example north Atlantic tracks,rnav approaches the way they are without updating them?

Does the world navaids installer for fsx and navdatapro/navigraph for fsx update vor/ils/runway frequencies/airways/waypoints the same way?

I haven't done it yet but i just read on a website that the airac changes occasionally (waypoints,airways even sometimes ils,runway frequencies change)so if you input a flightplan into a FMC on the level d 767 for example-how can you execute an ils approach on the fmc if the ils frequencies on the airac are not the same as the ils frequencies in the navaids in fsx

How do you cross the Atlantic when there is nats and no airways. Flightaware gives the nat coordinates when flying across the atlantic-but I was wondering how do you do the same with fs2004/fsx?-and how can you use navdatapro to fly nats across the Atlantic?

Thanks for your reply-another question is that level d 767 comes in a download version not boxed-does this mean you can have a backup copy if say your download gives problems

I was flying a 747 and doing 250 knots below 10,000ft- then 340 knots up to approx 25,000/30,000ft- then approx mach 0.84 at approx 30,000ft and above but my airspeed only indicates around 280/290 knots how is this? I taught my indicated airspeed would be higher than this.

How would other vatsim members aircraft appear on say my screen.also would they use high quality payware/freeware aircraft?(e.g.nippon cargo b747)

If you have ai aircraft with ai flight plans (with traffic tools I think) and you are flying your say default or flyable 737 to land- will ai aircraft slow down to let you land if they are behind you. In other words are they programmed to speed up or slow down to allow space for you to fly like in real time operations?
