As we all know, the amount of FSX addons that have been released in the past few years is immense. The list just keeps going on and on and we see new addons released every day! I'm just curious to see what your favorite legacy addons are. When I say legacy, I'm referring to addons that were released in the FS2004 era or right when FSX was released. Which addons from back in the day are you still using today? For me, I would have to go with the Flight1 ATR. I know it has been updated to work with FSX but it is still a relatively old bird. I would also go with the KPDX scenery from Flightscenery and the KLAX scenery from Cloud9 (sold by FSDT today). Regards B)

Hi Earl, Thats odd. If you switch back to your desktop (alt + tab) and then back to FSX do they get fixed?

I'm not familiar with those products but this is the best airport without a doubt for vegas

If it was up to me...make a new partition on that drive dedicated solely for FSX and install FSX in there. Defragment once the install is complete and then continue to installing addons. Have fun!

Let us know how it goes, but if you do have a virus your best bet is to start clean. I'm not really a fan of restores but thats just me...

As far as I know this file is for FSDT addons, if you disable it your FSDT airports (if you own any) will not work properly. Regards,

I would have to say KSFO! I just love the approaches on the 28s....its all water and then BAM you are on the runway. The best is when you are observing the landing from the wingview since you keep descending and its all water right until the last second.

Take note that the registration on most 3rd party models is added on the paint of the aircraft so you would have to edit the BMP or DDS files to change the registration.

oooh the DA Fokker 100. This was one of my favorite planes back in the day, I would definitely recommend it.

Try posting on the FSDT forum and ask them there. I know they hold polls once in a while letting people vote on airports. You best bet is to get this airport on the next poll. Regards,

I think OE-LAT pretty much covered everything you need. For the 767 I would look into the Level-D unless you want to go the CaptainSim route.

Others prob already stated this but here are my two tips... 1) LOCK frames, really do it. Set it to something like 20. Your eye can't realistically see more than that (lol dont quote me on this but try setting them at 30 and then 20 and tell me if you see a difference) 2) Reduce your autogen. Autogen is one of the biggest FPS drainers in FSX. Why do you think you get less FPS in bigger cities?

I guess I could agree with you on this since I don't t actually mind not having a fire system simulated and wingflex and radar etc... but you also have to remember that alot of simmers out there are real pilots and they are already accustomed to flying the real thing so not having these features is a turn off. I guess this is why developers model every single bit.

Yup anything from ORBX is always quality. I have not been flying in the sim for a while but FS2Crew is great too.
