I've noticed that the forums have been very quiet on the 'Ariane front' recently and although their web site is still there, there's been no news added to it for well over a year.

 

Have they finally given up, having been beaten by the seemingly unsurmountable popularity and success of the PMDG 737 series?

 

(Shame for all those still waiting for the 'imminent' navdata addon etc....)

Could be so, I can't imagine why anyone would buy their overpriced 737 now as there are both Ifly 737 and PMDG 737 available, both in way higher quality and also cheaper as Arine makes you pay for each model and livery.

 

Can't say that I would miss them, got really bad support many years ago when I was stupid enough to buy their 737.

Some people (some countries), keep thinking that the more expensive something is, the better it is...And, like some wrongfully trained pilots, they dive towards the runway (product), instead of learning (researching), how to fly and land (research and shop), correctly.

 

Or, as foolish as purchasing a house for $400,000 when in reality- for what it's built of and built like (sheet-rocks and stapled pine sticks)- doesn't merits more than $120,000

All I can say to keep the discussion civil is. Thank God for free market adjustments.
