Cannot get any menus to work?

Featured Replies

Hey, just bought Opus with good expectations. But now when i have it set up for live weather, i start fsx server and it loads. In P3D i cannot open the menus, i can click them and nothing happens. it shows up in the spy that I clicked it, but menus are missing and i dont get any weather..

Anyone with any good ideas?

Hi Toby91,

In case you are changing between FSX and P3D you have to mark this in the Configuration Tab, indicating the route to the corresponding FS program.

Maybe this helps?

Hi Tommy

When you say the menus don't work do you mean the OpusFSX menus or the P3D? The OpusFSX addon menus don't appear if OpusFSX has not been set up correctly.

I don't understand what you mean by "it shows up in the spy that I clicked it" what message exactly were you getting?

As Joop said, have you selected P3D as the sim type and identified the installation folder correctly?

Have you set the permissions of your P3D installation folder so that OpusFSX can write the weather file to P3D's \Weather\themes folder?

Otherwise it is just a case of enabling the LWE in the Configure dialog.
