Probable Stutter fix - Nvidia
I think it might limit the frames a tiny bit, but then again if you dont get the sudden spikes in fps, you wont get as much stutters. I think using some available memory to render the next frame is a good thing, like pre render 1 or 2 frames, so that it doesn`t take up too much as opposed to rendering 3 or 4 It will probably depend a lot on what graphics card people are using, im using at GTX 780. In the end its probably just another trade off between highest fps spikes and fluidity.

Probable Stutter fix - Nvidia
Hey So i`ve been installing P3D v3 again now, after installing all my addons again my sim was still producing microstutters while panning around and turning around. So i decided to do a general search on google on microstutters. I came across a fix not for flightsim, but for Witcher 3, but i tried it and it seems to work great on my system too. For me now the PMDG 737 is a lot smoother to fly, so here goes nothing! In your Nvidia control panel, not Nvidia inspector! Go to the P3D profile under 3d settings and make sure that Pre rendered frames is set to 1, not application controlled! Let me know if this works for you guys too, im curious about that. Cheers! Tommy

How to get Shade working with P3D - Solution
Hey all! Had a little bright moment a couple of days ago, finally got around getting Shade to work for P3D. So this would work given that you have the following: - FSX - REX for FSX - Shade for FSX - P3D up and running - and 5 minutes So here are the steps to follow to get this working! - Start by installing the desired sky textures that you want with Rex into fsx. - Then open Shade GUI and select the desired Shadow effect that you would like - Go to the "Set and Forget" tab in Shade and Set and forget it It seem to me that shade inserts shadow values into the sky texture files in fsx, that`s what got me thinking that this might work, looking at the interface in Shade where you can see the shadow values if you click on each texture there. but anyways, now lets put it into P3D! - Go into your fsx texture folder Flight simulator X/Texture and copy all textures that start with Sky (BMP and DDS files) - Now go to Prepar3D/Texture and paste, overwrite when asked! - Start up P3D and take an evening flight and let me know if it works for you! Hopefully it should look something like this! If you wish to make backups you can, but strictly speaking, a bakcup isn`t needed, just go into Rex and install sky textures without running shade and copy them into P3D! Hope this all works for you P3D flyers out there! Cheers! Tommy ps, Maybe Moderator could make this one a Sticky?

Anyway to disable AA on clouds?
Hello!Using flightsim for a long time, there is one performance issue that is buggering me, that is the performance in clouds while using high AA settings :) I have a Ati 5870 graphics card.So my simple question is as follows :)Is it possible to disable AA just for the clouds? Cannot see why the clouds need AA anyways...Cheers, Toby91
