  1. Hi paul123, did you already check the Flight1-site. I reinstalled quite some times without problems. It is a 24/7 days service; sundays holydays incl! salu2 Fdovillamil
  2. Hi mtrunz, OpusFSX_Getting_Started_Single_PC (it's in your Install-folder "OpusFSX" or can be downdloaded from their web-site go to page 2. salu2 Fdovillamil / GCLP
  3. Hello OmniAtlas, You might find some very relevant and interesting info within a few TrackIr topics in the OpusFSX forum. http://www.simforums.com/forums/opus-software_forum49.html salu2 Fdovillamil / GCLP Joop
  4. Hello Doug: Pls have a look to this: http://forum.avsim.net/topic/377673-languagedll/ For me it worked! salu2 Joop / GCLP 23:03Z (moving slowly towards the bedroom)
  5. Hi Toby91, In case you are changing between FSX and P3D you have to mark this in the Configuration Tab, indicating the route to the corresponding FS program. Maybe this helps? salu2 Fdovillamil / GCLP Joop
  6. Hi Doug, Thanks for your detailed answer on the FSX-P3D story. I understood this far better than those "EULA-texts" I've been reading so far! It makes me thinking that Microsoft did not do a bad business at all selling the code to LM. Since they stopped MS Flight as well, this will give them a break of maybe a few years to think it all over, while LM is developing the P3D meanwhile. I can already see what will be up after let's say 3-5 years: A brand new Flashing , Super Flight Simulator which will be unbeatable for another 25 years! "Until then the research continues! salu2 Joop GCLP 1835Z BTW: It must be early in the morning there with you now?
  7. Hello Doug, I did some research and I can confirm you as follows: I've got it "working" but only 1) in Windowed mode 2) launching SB4 via Taskbar Start - All Programs or directly from the install folder in C:\ Once P3D v1.4 is active I cannot launch SquawkBox from the Menu Bar | Add-ons | Start SquawkBox. When I activate "Start SquawkBox" it just disappears from the Menu until next launching. It seems it didn't trigger anything neither because I can start SquawkBox as described above. For me -after all- it is not a big issue as I was and I am only trying to get some experience in this virtual-on-line-flying. I have read so many beautiful stories in all the forums that I cannot understand at all that it seems to be impossible to have FSInn or SquawkBox working with P3D. Does this mean that all those P3D-simmers (and I suppose there are many of them out there and getting more each day!) does this mean that they can not do this with P3D??? Or is everybody simply trying to do it his way and get the best out of it? Anyway, Doug, thanks so far for your help and kind attention. Very appreciated! And, of course, if there is a solution pls let me know. salu2 Joop / GCLP
  8. Hello Doug, Sorry to tell you, but it doesn't seem to work. I must be missing something, because it can't be that difficult. As I first installed it as usual in FSX, I tried it in FSX and it worked normally. I'm really surprised and a bit disappointed, because till now I succeed installing nearly any addon in P3D! What puzzles me is that I can't understand how a simconnect.dll can be used for P3D if the version is for example 10.0.61259.0, which is for FSX SP2. In the Modules-folder I also saw a file called sb3gaugebridge.dll. As discussed before I have FSUIPC4 (Reg.) v4.8.5.8 (before I had v4.8.5.7, but I don't think that this caused any problems). If you have some ideas, Doug, pls let me know. salu2 Joop / GCLP
  9. Hi Doug, Thanks a lot for your answer. I have FSUIPC registered/uptodate, but maube you're right there where you say to (un)install FSUIPC again. In the winsxs folder I can see the this 61259 version in there. I'll let you know how I get on salu2 Joop / GCLP
  10. Hello Doug, I'v been trying to get it working exactly following your instructions. It's not the first time actually that I'm trying it and I thought giving it another chance. But no good. The difference imho can only be the Simconect version, since you said you did NOT use the original one, but a later version. Could you pls give me some more details on this version? For now I can only launch and connect SB4 by executing from its folder. If I try from the Menu bar within P3D (v1.4) it doesn't launch and it also disappears from the Menu bar until the next time I launch P3D (all 3 dll's are also duly copied and added into the P3D DLL). I must be missing something somewhere on the line. salu2 Fdovillamil Joop / GCLP
  11. Hello Jean-Paul Great! I have immediately bookmarked this site. This site is, I think, a good solution for mad dog! salu2 Fdovillamil GCLP
  12. hello, I can confirm this; I just did a test it works ok! salu2 Fdovillamil GCLP
  13. Hello I'm getting to understand you now better. The aviationweather link Beaver driver gave you is very interesting. I would like to give you also another one I used once myself: http://vortex.plymou.../statlog-u.html They give historical metar data only as from yesterday backwards. So no way to have the metar for e.g. a few hours earlier. Which Airport are you referring to at his moment, if I may ask you? salu2 Fdovillamil EDIT :metar data only as from
  14. Hello again, I'm in GCLP and we have the same time 2013Z right now. Your metar should be the same Z-time. Now if you wish to fly at 14:00 you can just set your time in the sim accordingly. salu2 Fdovillamil Joop /GCLP
