October 13, 201213 yr Hi All, Re: FS9 First post in the Linda forum - a repeat of one I posted elsewhere... Can Linda help me with turboprop conditioner levers ? I've been playing around with it and the only "key" sequence I can get to affect the condition levers are [ctrl shft f1] and [ctrl shft f4] none of the other mixture commands or mapped axis seem to work... When I do use the aforementioned key strokes it adjusts BOTH condition levers - and - its - all on - or - all off... I have some planes with three condition lever settings - off - low idle - high idle... As you probably know - in order to do a proper start - you need individual control to kick in the fuel as the specific engine is spinning on the starter... I'm ok with using keystrokes but I can't find anything in FSUIPC that seems to control the condition levers... Then I was thinking of trying a macro to select the engine I want to control... In the past - I used to be able to select an individual engine to command by pressing [e1] [e2] - what's weird is that e1 works fine but after pressing I am stuck with individual control of the port engine - e2 or e12 doesn't do anything... For this I tested with the default Baron... This a basic install of FS9 with hardly any mods yet... Regards, Scott
October 14, 201213 yr Hi Scott, LINDA works only for FSX. I'm not sure if I understand you right, but have you tried all possible axis assignments? Which addon do you mean? October 14, 201213 yr Author Hi Guenseli, Ahh - my bad... I've got a new build now capable of running FSX fairly well - once I get my FS9 setup where I want it - I'll start getting FSX setup - have to make all the basic addon purchases all over again - ouch - which gets pretty expensive... I'll take a look at Linda again then... I'm working on the DA Cheyenne - and - both the starter button and conditioner levers are on different screens... Neither the starter or conditioner levers can be controlled by keyboard shortcuts or joystick axis (FS9 settings or FSUIPC) - so you can't do "realistic" turboprop starts... Only mouse clicks seem to work... Regards, Scott
