There is hardly any take offs but plenty of landings and also barely any cargo flights at US airports, can someone help me out?

Buy a third party AI addon. I use MyTrafficX and can highly recommend it.

 

You can do a quick search of this forum and find a lot of threads regarding 3rd party AI addons. You will see many different opinions of which is best. You will just need to read through all the threads and decide which seems the best for you.

 

Right now MyTrafficX 5.4b is in beta testing and will probably be released in late October or early November.
