AI Traffic Problem

Featured Replies

There are so many landings with the AI traffic but not emough takeoffs its like the aircraft just sit at the gate forever and only a few leave at once and there are like barely any cargo flights mods please delete my old post sorry for this.

Would be nice to give us some info on where that happens(I guess everywhere?) and what traffic addon you use. Otherwise it'll be difficult for us to tell you where the problem might be.

I changed the title of your topic to better relate to your post. When FSX is loaded, it loads every flight and AI worldwide no matter where you are located. AI flights are scheduled to takeoff and land based on a flight plan. For default aircraft, FSX has it's own schedules. The AI setting in your FSX settings page is the basis for how much AI is loaded but this setting should not be any higher than 40% as again, AI is loaded all around the world and they are flying or taxiing even though you are not located there. Higher settings will increase traffic and maybe schedules, but it will be a major performance hit. Even at 40% there's a major hit. Knowing if you have a payware of freeware AI addon would be important to know.

Best regards,

Jim
