October 18, 201213 yr I want to uninstall FSX from my computer and then re-install it again, at a different location. When I go into the programs and features under the control panel, there is no FSX, and if I try to insert disk one, I don't get a message asking if I want to repair or remove the files, instead I just get an option to install the game again. Any help I could get would be appreciated.
October 18, 201213 yr It should be "Microsoft Flight Simulator X:Acceleration". If not, it's not installed. Thats why you don't get the repair option, just the install. This time instal it in it's own folder, not Program Files. Don't forget to delete all the old files. Dave
October 18, 201213 yr hi here's a link Use a mirror on the right(i used american one) and download this file.run it and it removes any trace of fsx from your computer. you should get the normal startup screen once it's finished . it was replaced by Microsoft FIXIT.that didn't work so i reverted to this. http://www.filecluster.com/downloads/Windows-Installer-CleanUp-Utility.html steve-0 REX SKYFORCE 3D steve howlett
