In an attempt to capture my activities exploring prepar3D, Unedited and shot with my iPhone 4S, and uploaded to Youtube in HD(you apparently cannot view the HD version here) in order to overcome the huge and unacceptable frame-rate impact of Fraps, MSI Afterburner, and dxtory, I am now exploring Elgato game Capture HD.

I had fun results, yes, with shakiness, and imperfect T&G procedures, but perhaps with a serendipitous synergy here, because of the 4-s's camera movement actually adding to the realism of a "guest in the cockpit with an iPhone". Let me know what you think of this technique (external recording devices) and your experiences with Elgato... enjoy y'all.

I have managed to record with Fraps getting best frame rates ever in P3D...however, FSRecorder crashed everytime. Might try MSI Afterburner next. Any good?
