Mouse control and Windows 7

Featured Replies

Hi all

I am running the PMDG 737NGX on a clean install of FSX + SP1 on Windows 7. However when in virtual cockpit I can pan around using space bar and mouse but I can't seem to click anything on the panels.

Can anyone help?

Many thanks

(I have tried running it as system administrator!)

This happened to me, first, install SP2. That is required in most Fs Addons. Also, did you get the prompt to enter your activation code? I didn't, which forced my plane to not work, I could look around, but not press anything, nothing was interactive. IF none of that helps, contact PMDG support.

Hey Luke. Not too sure as to why you can't click anything. I know when i used EzDok camera, this would happen if you were placed Wrongly in relation to the MCP. Other than that, i would follow jetsflier's suggestions.

One note though: I have just changed my weather app which includes a camera feature, so i dumped EzDok. In doing so i lost the neat mouse look function I use for initial preflight set up , because i have controllers disabled in FSX and use FSUIPC (Registered). However, now the latest FSUIPC has a mouse look feature where you don't even have to hold down the space bar, you just use the middle mouse button.
