October 23, 201213 yr Hi, I have been running Windows 8 RTM since it was released to IT Pros but I am having serious issues with the blurries on FSX. I have an i5 @ 4Ghz, 4GB RAM, SSD, GTX560Ti but yet I can't get it running as well as I had it on Windows 7. Anyone else experiencing the same? I'm sure somebody somewhere is using Win 8 with FSX. I'm not sure if there is something restricting the loading of textures but they seem to pop into view blurred and then refocus very slowly into a sharper texture. Running the latest drivers from nvidia too. UAC and Smartscreen disabled, FSX at the root of C: Any help would be much appreciated. Jon Caldwell
October 24, 201213 yr i'm on W8 RTM did some quick tests but didn't seem to have that issue sorry maybe try some older NVIDIA drivers?
October 24, 201213 yr Author I will give the older drivers a try. See screenshot which better explains my issues. I am using nVidia Inspector which is configured as per Kostas guide. The a/c looks fine - ground textures look awful. Jon Caldwell
