Hello everyone,

I would say that after a while of running I can announce the opening of a new section in the forum dedicated to the Combat Fighter Starfighter reachable at this link -> http://www.fightercombatsims.net/for...4-starfighter/

Thanks to the valuable collaboration with the Sim Skunk Works and my staff to the project, we were able to quickly reach a good level of simulation, both for the 3D regarding the coding of the cockpit.

We are currently completing the first implementation phase, which includes 3D modeling of the Starfighter in every detail, then go to step 2, animation and texture mapping.

Meanwhile, work is underway to implement clickable buttons in the cockpit and then move to the real scripting that include electronics, fuel system, and gradually all avionics systems, radar, including AA, we are waiting for the AG for more info

We are in possession of a cockpit 3D fact already completed which is used to carry out some tests as the functions are inserted.

More detail to follow later ...

This image was captured during a beta flight test with the new Advanced Flight Model. We hope to release a teaser about thestarfighter in the next months.

The External Model is now complete at 100% Fully Animated. 90.000 polygons are made for this model.

This screen was made during an AFM test. The team is now working on 3DOF animation and texturing. The next step will be to include the LUA code.

As always, your help is very appreciated. If you want to join to our for Testing, Coding or texturing, send me a PM, or contact me at [email protected].

yes. We planning to add some features, for example the Pitch-Up and the BLC system.

The use of the system BLC forces, however, to maintain high engine speed in landing, to allow an adequate pressure of the air flow, and, in order to avoid imbalances between the two wings, the complex of blowing must be perfectly symmetrical.

Bad news F-104G canceled (translate by google translator)

Hello to all,
after a careful evaluation together with the ED, I decided to cancel the project DCS F-104G.

The reasons are many and varied, you want the difficult creation of the C + + code, you want to change the continuous versions of the DCS, you want the continuous update of the plugins that altered the 3D models, textures, materials and so on ... In short, we started with an ambitious project, believing that she had a little help from those who had offered us the opportunity to create the form, but we did not get anything, just disappointments and then the complete dissolution of the group of guys who wanted to bring the willing Starfighter in DCS.
I want to thank everyone for having at least tried.

At this point I hope someone else runs

That's too bad as I'm sure it would have been a well selling module. Everyone loves a missile with a man in it!

Is it done yet? When will it be released? Will it be freeware or payware? How much will it cost? Any updates on the progress? Will it work for Xbox? Can I be a beta tester? How's the performance in VR?

Hmm yeah that's a shame. The Starfighter has to be one of the most popular military jets ever, I think almost everyone involved in DCS would want one.
