Temp freeze between view cycle changes

Featured Replies

Just upgraded my on board screen graphics to a 2nd hand Nvidia 9800GT 1MB DDR3 and my IT savvy nephew has installed latest drivers for me I now notice that I am getting freezes for say 20secs or so when cycling views using S The sound continues and it eventually changes . My processor is a 3.3Ghz Dual core phenom and using XP as O/S . I am wondering if it is driver related and I should try an Older version of the Driver I am also running Rex 2004

Thanks Boyd

I'm starting to think this is a Windows update issue, as I've noticed this in the past week or so.

I did try new drivers but no dice.

Perhaps roll back prior to the last update?

Did you also get the CD drivers, etc, that came with the 2nd hand Nvidia 9800GT?

My old n-vidia 9500GT 1 GB, much prefers its older (original) CD drivers to get trouble-free operation!

Newer is not always better, when it comes to Drivers!... ...!
