Well, the title says it all. I am (as you may know due to my constant asking for advice) building a new rig. I was wondering if a 400R could handle an H100? How well does it cool overall? Thanks!

I have the 400R and I had to cut off a part of the fan mount to get the H100 to fit correctly without impeding onto my 8 pin CPU connector.

 

For less hassle, I recommend the 500R instead.

Perhaps you received a bad 400R? It is advertised by the mnfr. to be able to handle an H100 fine. On a side note, could anyone recommend a site for gaming pc builds? I would do it myself, but I lack skills and time.
