October 31, 201213 yr Hello, my name is andrew from Uruguay, I am having some problems with DX10, when flying at night the lights of the taxiway, is ugly, as shown in the attached image - Using the famous fix to solve the problem of DX10 in the runway - wing lights disappear when take off too!!!!! "Use the graphics to the maximum level, and my pc is:" Amd Fx4100 4.0GHz 4G Ram Ati 6750 1G Ram (DX11 and DX10) Windows 7 32bit Is there any fix to fix this problem? PD: Im using REX without rex the problem persists thanks and regards
October 31, 201213 yr Had you tried the "How-To" Doc on the pinned section? There is a section that says: "Runway Lighting: From a post by Brett Lucas (Avsim – “The Dude”) “I had approach lights, but no runway lights. So last night I was going through many of the posts and came across one very important one. If you install Michael Swannick fsx_lights.zip, its the Halo bitmap that will fix the runway lights. The trick is, if you use REX or Active Sky 2012, you need to UNCHECK runway lights so it does not get overwritten. In my case, I use both and unchecked both, and presto, I had awesome lights again.” Look at the doc. Apply the fix AND the changes to your Nvidia or ATI profile. If that not work, see if the above mentioned file can help you out.
November 1, 201213 yr The problem lays in the gnd polys. When the developers were making the sceneies they were stuck with FS8 and FS9 techniques. I have been in contact with the boys over at FlyTampa and they explained it very well to me. From your picture, the gnd textures are gray and your taxi signs are also gray. And here is the problem. As of now, there is no way to change those textures. With that said, you will find many addon airports with different problems regarding the night light issue. To be short, the plug got pulled on Aces before they could do what needed to be done for GROUND lighting. Your terminals will be fine, it's the way the gnd textures were developed. I'm not a developer, so anyone with a better explaintion please step in, but like I said this is how it was explained to me by lead developers. In short, we are screwed for DX10 at night. Almost every airport would have to be redone with textures that convert to DX10. Hope this helps. You can thank M$ for pulling the plug too early, hence "DX10 Preview". Brett.

Look for the file google with no results, you think you can send me the file to my email address? [email protected] or carbone.garcia @ gmail.com?? I would greatly appreciate it or give me the link where I can download it?
November 1, 201213 yr Author I found the fix, to copy file "Halo" no changes, even disabling REX options .... I see that the problem is in the Uruguay Montevideo airport now can not remember that company. The tested fly in another default airport and taxiway lights is there, they are perfect I think that may be a compatibility issue with DX10 and the addon,??
November 1, 201213 yr The link for the Michael Swannick fsx_lights.zip is in the How-To do, and you can find them here.
