November 2, 201213 yr I have FSX Gold. I'm primarilly interested in the accuracy of weather effects (winds / turbulence, visibility, temp, smooth transition ) than in other artifacts that can certainly make FSX look even better but are of less importance to me. I see AS2012 sells for less then ASEVO. I thought ASEVO was the weather engine itself and made part of AS2012, but then it should cost less (?). What exactly are the differences between the two? AS2012 is the more expensive product as it contains the latest as well as fully integrated graphics. AS2012 is not the same engine as ASE, it is enhanced quite a bit and contains things like better visibility depiction options, improved interpolation, improved thunderstorm depiction, new flight planning features with auto routing, etc. Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation Technologies
