Sound problems in FSX and Flight

Featured Replies

When I first install FSX and Flight the sound system is fine. After a short time the engine sounds stop coming through the headphones and start coming through the speakers even though the headphones are plugged in. I did not think this was possible from a hardware point of view so it may be a problem with the plug. However when using the phones for music etc they work fine. Has anyone else had this problem?

Your hardware failed.

This sounds like a connector or cable problem.

Check the connector for the phones and make sure it's not loose. Also, make sure the port you plug it into hasn't gotten loose. Good luck.

Thank you.
